GPAA Gold & Treasure Show in Las vegas. We had a great time and met some very nice people. Made it home safe and got some sleep.
Family trip to the cabins in Keystone and prospecting on Douglas Creek.
Cache Creek is just west of Granite Colorado and is around 9600 ft. with a spectacular view of the valley below. The days are warm in the summer and the evenings still get cold enough to freeze water. We met some prospector friends from Oklahoma and highbanked the cobble piles. Took a hike and found an old prospecting classifier.
Clear Creek starts on the east side of the Continental Divide and runs down I-70, thru Golden and Denver finally meeting the Platte River. There's still plenty of fine gold and Clear Creek is Red's favorite place to prospect.
