It's the small stuff
One of the biggest issues us small scale miners have with filling our nugget bag is that most of the gold out there is too small to pick up and drop into the bag. If we only focus on the big stuff we will be leaving most of the flour fine gold behind. It may only be as big as fly poop but get enough of it and it will outweigh all the nuggets you will ever find in the same trip. 90% of all the gold that runs over your sluice is 50- and you never see it. If you have some chunkier stuff in the sluice and it amounts to anything, you feel you have had a good day. If you are happy with that 10% then this topic is not for you. Let's brainstorm that other 90% and see if we can make it ours.
